Introduction
Recipe Dot respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement on the recipedot.com website.
Filing a DMCA Notice
To file a DMCA notice, you must provide the following in writing: 1) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; 2) identification of the allegedly infringing material, including the URL; 3) your contact information (address, phone number, email); 4) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; 5) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf. Failure to include all required elements may result in a delayed response.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include your contact information, identification of the material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address. We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant and may reinstate the material within 10-14 business days.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Recipe Dot will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We consider a user a repeat infringer if they have been the subject of more than one valid DMCA notice. We also reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts at our discretion in appropriate circumstances.
