Ingredients

  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 block tofu, cubed
  • 1 block tempeh, cubed
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, halved
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • Fried shallots and prawn crackers for garnish

Peanut Sauce

  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, ground
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce (kecap manis)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Steam the cabbage, green beans, carrots, and potatoes until tender. Set aside.
  2. Fry the tofu and tempeh until golden brown.
  3. In a saucepan, combine all the peanut sauce ingredients and cook over low heat until the sauce thickens.
